Le Musée de Pont-Aven offre un parcours de visite inédit, vivant et enrichissant pour toute la famille. Quelques 150 peintures et œuvres sur papier immergent les visiteurs dans l’esthétique de la célèbre « École de Pont-Aven ».

Les aplats de couleurs pures et les cernes délimitent les formes simplifiées dans les compositions.

Des dispositifs multimédias adaptés à tous permettent de comprendre l’effervescence artistique qui a animé Pont-Aven à la fin du XIXème siècle grâce à Paul Gauguin, Émile Bernard, Paul Sérusier ou encore, Maurice Denis.

The Museum of Pont-Aven offers an original, dynamic and enriching experience for the entire family. The display includes around 150 paintings and graphic artworks, immersing visitors in the aesthetic style of the famous “Pont-Aven School”, characterized by blocks of pure colour and simplified forms separated by contours.

Various educational multimedia tools enable visitors to understand the artistic energy which blossomed in Pont-Aven at the end of the 19th century thanks to Paul Gauguin, Émile Bernard, Paul Sérusier and Maurice Denis.
